Inter midfielder Stefano Sensi spoke to Inter TV after the Nerazzurri’s 3-1 win in the Serie A over Sampdoria away at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris in Genoa’s Marassi district.

“I’m happy for the win and also for my goal, I always try to improve. Today everything went well, this was three important points for us. It’s never a foregone conclusion that you win here in Genoa, we’re good at closing the games off, as you could see with our third goal.”

The former Sassuolo player then spoke of his incredible development since joining Inter this summer.

“I didn’t expect this [start at Inter], but everyone here has helped me.”

Finally, Sensi looked ahead to next week’s game against Barcelona away at the Camp Nou in the Champions League.

“We know them well, but after today’s game we know our qualities, and we’ll be ready. We still don’t know where we are, we’ll see it in the most difficult moments we face, but we have to work so that we don’t find ourselves unprepared. We are a solid group, united, we all sacrifice ourselves for each other, the foundation is there for us to have a great year.”
