Inter’s upcoming match against arch-rivals Juventus is heading toward a sell-out according to a report from Tuttosport.

The second and third tiers are already completely sold out and no less than 72,000 fans have snapped up tickets for the game – including away fan ticket sales.

Due to part of the stadium being closed for safety concerns, approximately 2350 seats are out of use therefore meaning the game will be a sell out at around 76,000 – a figure that was not reached for the recent Milan derby, which AC Milan played hosts for.

This will be Inter’s highest attendance of the season by over 10,000 fans. Inter have average 59,000 fans per home game so far with their highest attendance to date being 64,000 on the opening day against Lecce.

The report from the Turin based news outlet goes on to detail that Inter are hopeful of setting a new record for ticket revenue. The current record is €5.7 million and was set during a recent Milan derby.
