Paris Saint Germain manager Thomas Tuchel has praised striker Mauro Icardi following the Argentine’s first goal for the club last night following his arrival from Inter.
“He told me he could play from the start, as he did against Real Madrid, practically without training. It is good because he is a boy who can do it all and this helps us a lot at the moment,” the German explained in an interview with the French club’s official channel.
“It was not the most difficult goal in the world that he scored, but it is an extraordinary goal when you consider the build-up, it was a real a team goal. Mauro was there to finish and it is a decisive goal.
“He had many chances, worked a lot for the team and did very well. He can still improve. He can score more and get more confidence and get in better condition.”
