Inter legend Esteban Cambiasso believes that Inter have what it takes to compete for the title this season but firstly shared his feelings on Inter’s loss to Barcelona last night.
“After this match, we are all bitter and sad. Barcelona benefited from Ousmane Dembele coming on, he was an inconvenience to Inter, above all to Danilo D’Ambrosio,” he remarked in an interview with Sky Sport.
He then spoke on this Sunday’s first Derby D’Italia of the season.
“Juventus are aware of their own means and know that they will have to fight for the Scudetto. Inter have the chance to be a serious candidate for the title. Inter will have to play with great intensity in front of the home crowd.
“It is more important that Inter prove themselves to be a serious team on Sunday. As Marotta has said, the matches are long and the players on the bench matter too.”
