Director of Italian television show Tg La7 Enrico Mentana believes yesterday’s match against Barcelona was the start of a new dawn for the club.
Inter took an early lead through Lautaro Martinez and outplayed Barcelona at stages of the match but could not hold on and ended up succumbing to defeat after Luis Suarez scored twice for the hosts in the second half.
“Lautaro Martinez and Nicolo Barella are 22 years old, Stefano Sensi and Milan Skriniar 24, Marcelo Brozovic 26. In the first half Inter made Italy happy. Against Barcelona, a new Inter was born and all the credit must go toward the man on the bench, Antonio Conte,” he said, as quoted by FCInterNews.it.
