Lautaro Martinez has shared his disappointment following Inter’s 2-1 loss away to Barcelona in the Champions League group stage.
“The manager is right, it was an undeserved defeat for us. We played a great game and we go away sad from here because we were not able to win,” the Argentine, who gave Inter a lead just minutes into the game, explained in an interview with Inter’s in-house channel Inter TV.
“I am sad for the result but happy with the performance. I must also say that the referee made his mark on the game. Now we must look toward the Juventus match.”
“We are growing both individually and as a team. Especially in the first half, we had a lot of scoring chances. At the end, Barça upped the tempo and surprised us, but as I have said, we must now turn our head toward Juventus.”
