Gazzetta dello Sport believe that referee Gianluca Rocchi did well as he refereed the first Derby D’Italia of the season between Inter and Juventus.

Rocchi was correct to award Inter a penalty kick on the 17th minute and did very well to see the touch of the ball on Matthijs de Ligt’s arm.

Half-way through the second half, Romelu Lukaku appeared to be fouled in the box as Leonardo Bonucci pushed him in the back but Gazzetta dello Sport believe that Rocchi was right not to award a penalty.

Right at the death, Rocchi booked Nicolo Barella for diving and rightly so as the Italian cleared dived.
