Inter are due Roma close to €5 million for the transfer of Matteo Politano according to a report from Calcio e Finanza.

As per Inter’s accounts, there is a sum of approximately €44 million under the heading “Non-current trade receivables” something which relates to transfer fees.

Inter are still to pay Roma €4.6 million for Politano, who they signed on a permanent basis from Sassuolo this Summer for a sum of €20 million after an initial season long loan spell.

This sum, as per the report, is due to be paid to the Giallorossi because of a sell-on fee agreed between Roma and Sassuolo when Italian international Politano joined Sassuolo on a permanent basis back in 2016.

Politano, who is now in his second year with Inter, has made eight appearances across all competitions this season for a total of 238 minutes on the field. The 26-year-old has however yet to contribute any goals or assists.
