Inter legend Javier Zanetti posted a photo on Instagram last night of himself alongside former teammate Roberto Baggio.
Zanetti, who spent 19 years with the Nerazzurri, played with the Italian legend for two seasons between 1998 and 2000.
The pair were reunited at the Trento Sport Festival that’s taking place this weekend, with Baggio speaking earlier about his experiences with the Nerazzurri. Despite only playing two seasons together, Zanetti has clearly kept a friendship with the 52-year-old Italian.
He posted the photo with Baggio on Instagram alongside the caption: “Twenty years later, time goes by, but friendship stays. Today like yesterday, it is always an honour to be at the side of the great Roberto Baggio! In his simplicity, there is his greatness.”
