Former Juventus forward Paolo Rossi spoke at Trento Sport Festival today to gathered reporters discussing his respect for Inter coach Antonio Conte, with Italian media outlet FcInterNews in attendance.
“I admire him a lot, because what he manages to convey is done by a few others and not only from an emotional point of view, also because in the end there is little on the bench, but on a technical level as well. Every time I see games of a certain level, I try to understand, but I wouldn’t be able to, it’s a sense of admiration that I feel for good people who have to show up every Sunday, to do exams.”
Rossi won the World Cup with Italy in 1982 and also achieved both the Golden Boot and Golden Ball awards for his performances in the tournament, becoming only one of three players in history to win all three awards at once.
