Football finance expert Marco Bellinazzo has spoken on the continued financial progress that Inter have made in recent years.
“Inter invoiced less than Milan a few years ago but today it invoices €120-130 million more but still €120-130 million less than Juve,” he said in an interview with Radio Nerazzurra.
“No other club can reach the levels of Inter and Juventus. Roma is under reconstruction, Napoli has an important squad but it is very much under the structural turnover of €200 million. Milan’s insertion will depend on how long it takes to resolve the issues at stake now.”
He then spoke in the importance of stadium ownership when it comes to being able to compete at the highest level.
“Without it is almost impossible to compete with the big European sides. Inter has already passed Juve from a commercial point of view and can increase revenues so as to compensate for the gap with Juventus on the stadium front.
“The capacity limits of the Allianz are an advantage for Inter who can earn more than the Bianconeri from the stadium and in commercial areas which will allow them to start playing on the same level as them.”
