At a Sport Week event in Milan, former Inter striker Christian Vieri has spoken on Inter and whether or not they should be trying to win the Serie A title this season as some have suggested in the media lately.
“It is wrong to say that Inter must win the scudetto, it puts pressure on the team without needing to. Juve is clearly stronger than the others in Serie A, they have an incredible substitutes bench,” he is quoted as saying by TuttoMercatoWeb at the event.
He then spoke on what he thinks his former club should be doing.
“The Nerazzurri can and must fight to the end. It is obvious that from the fourth place of last season to win the title would be a big leap. Marotta is a great director, Conte is a manager who never lets you go, but we are calm, there is also Napoli in the race for the scudetto.”
