Inter manager Antonio Conte will make a trio of changes for Inter’s match with Borussia Dortmund tomorrow night in the third round of Champions League group stage action.

Conte rested several players for this past weekend’s 4-3 away win over Sassuolo in view of the crucial game against the Germans, who will be having to do without star players Marco Reus and Paco Alcacer.

Diego Godin, who is the most experienced player in the Champions League in the Inter squad, will return to the starting XI and will take the place of young defender Alessandro Bastoni.

Kwadwo Asamoah will also be back and he will take the place of Cristiano Biraghi at left wing back in Conte’s 3-5-2 system.

Despite arguably being the best performing midfielder against Sassuolo, Roberto Gagliardini will be dropped and Matias Vecino will come in for him.

Probably Inter starting XI (3-5-2): Samir Handanovic; Diego Godin, Stefan De Vrij, Milan Skriniar; Antonio Candreva, Matias Vecino, Marcelo Brozovic, Nicolo Barella, Kwadwo Asamoah; Romelu Lukaku, Lautaro Martinez.
