Godin & Asamoah To Return To Inter Line-Up For Dortmund Clash

Antonio Conte has decided to make a couple of changes to the starting line-up for tonight’s Champions League group stage match at home to Borussia Dortmund according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

Conte will continue to stick with the 3-5-2 system that has served his Nerazzurri side well this term. Diego Godin, after being rested against Sassuolo, will be back in the defence and he will replace Alessandro Bastoni.

Kwadwo Asamoah will also return. He was rested against the Neroverdi as well and will replace Cristiano Biraghi at left wing back for the match against the Bundesliga outfit.

The report goes on to state that Roberto Gagliardini will retain his place in the line-up too with thanks to his decent performance against Sassuolo and due to his potential replacement Matias Vecino being a real doubt due to injury.

Inter probably starting XI (3-5-2): Samir Handanovic; Milan Skriniar, Stefan de Vrij, Diego Godin; Antonio Candreva, Nicolo Barella, Marcelo Brozovic, Roberto Gagliardini, Kwadwo Asamoah; Lautaro Martinez, Romelu Lukaku
