Inter’s Uruguayan international central defender Diego Godin told the Nerazzurri’s official TV channel Inter TV moments ago, that qualifying from their Champions League group is a main objective for the squad this season.
“I am ready to play in another match of this high caliber, I have played in many of these types of matches, but they all have to be taken on in a different way, going from one to another.”
“Today, we are playing in a very important match for us, one that we dream will get us to qualify from the group to the round of the last 16.”
“I started this season with an injury, now I am looking to do everything I possibly can to adapt myself to this new system of playing. But the most important thing is that the team wins.”
Godin joined the Nerazzurri this past season from Atletico Madrid on a free transfer.
