Former Brescia and Empoli coach Luigi Cagni spoke to Italian radio station Radio Sportiva, discussing Inter coach Antonio Conte and Marcelo Brozovic’s mistakes in yesterday’s 2-2 draw against Parma.

“Conte has many choices, but not up front. He’s right, but he hasn’t given the team any specific faults. He said that in order to grow, certain things must be done in time. If you have a 17-year-old boy in reserve and you’re fighting in the league and in the Champions League, you might have a few problems…”

The 69-year-old Italian then touched on the mistakes made by Inter midfielder Brozovic.

“It’s clear that he can’t play every game, the mistakes he made yesterday are due to physical problems. It’s not like him, a player of great quality, I’ve seen him in difficulty.”

The 26-year-old Croatian midfielder has appeared in every game so far this season for the Nerazzurri, starting all of them.
