Godin & Asamoah To Be Replaced By Bastoni & Biraghi For Inter’s Match Away To Bologna

Inter manager Antonio Conte has already decided on two changes he will make to the team for this Saturday’s match away to Bologna, according to a report in today’s print edition of Roman news outlet Corriere dello Sport.

Conte has somewhat surprisingly kept rotation of his side to a minimum during Inter’s ongoing packed schedule which by the end will have seen them play seven games in the space of 21 days.

The changes he will make for the trip to face the Rossoblu concern the defence. Veteran defender Diego Godin will drop to the bench to allow him to rest up ahead of the Champions League clash with Borussia Dortmund.

Young defender Alessandro Bastoni will come in to take his place in the back three and will play alongside Milan Skriniar and Stefan de Vrij.

The other change will see Kwadwo Asamoah drop out for the same reasons as Godin and Cristiano Biraghi will come in to replace him at left wing back in Conte’s 3-5-2 system.
