According to a report from Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona’s interest in signing Inter striker Lautaro Martinez is growing by the day.
The Blaugrana are on the look out for someone to replace the ageing Luis Suarez and whilst they dream of Kylian Mbappe or Harry Kane, they have identified Argentina international Lautaro Martinez as a player who could also replace the Uruguayan.
Barcelona bosses were particularly impressed by the 22-year-old’s performance against them in the Champions League and can expect to pay in excess of €100 million.
Inter are well aware of Barcelona’s interest and for this reason are looking to offer him improved terms, which could well see the €111 million release clause in his contract removed entirely or significantly increased.
The report goes on to state that Barcelona are also keeping tabs on Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford. The Englishman has scored seven goals in 14 appearances this season and provided three assists.
