The refereeing appointments for this weekend’s Serie A action have been announced with Federico La Penna assigned to referee Inter’s match away to Bologna.
The 36-year-old will be refereeing his seventh match of the season, his second involving Bologna and first involving Inter.
In his six matches to date, he has dished out 24 yellow cards, three red cards (one of which a straight red) and four penalties.
Matteo Passeri and Dario Cecconi will be La Penna’s assistants at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara whilst Livio Marinelli will be the fourth official. Paolo Valeri will be in charge of VAR and will be assisted by Stefano Del Giovane.
The match pits 11th placed Bologna up against second placed Inter. Bologna have won just one of their past five matches whilst Inter have three wins in their last five and have won all five of their away games to date in Serie A.
