Former Palermo and Udinese coach Francesco Guidolin spoke to Italian broadcaster DAZN last night after Juventus’ 1-0 victory over Torino in the Turin derby.
“Having a deep squad is essential for Juve and this is the real difference with Inter. At least right now. Conte’s team is there, clinging to the table, winning dirty matches the Bianconeri did in some cases too.”
“The difference is in the number of players and in the quality of the players: they hang on the side of the Bianconeri.”
The Bianconeri’s victory last night saw them return to the top of the league table, one point ahead of Inter. Juventus haven’t lost a game so far this season but have drawn twice which has left them only slightly above the Nerazzurri.
Inter’s only loss of the season came against Juventus before the last international break, when they lost the Derby d’Italia 2-1 at the San Siro.
