Andreas Brehme: “Dortmund Have To Pressure Inter’s Defence From The First Minute”

Former Inter and Borussia Dortmund defender Andreas Brehme has spoken on what he thinks Dortmund need to do if they wish to succeed against Inter tonight in the Champions League group stage.

“Borussia Dortmund will have to put pressure on the Nerazzurri defence if they want to win; it becomes difficult for any defender if they are attacked from the first minute. Borussia Dortmund will have to do this and they will be helped by the contribution of the fans,” he said in an interview with broadcaster DAZN.

The German also touched briefly upon Inter and what Dortmund need to be wary of.

“Dortmund will need to be careful though and not concede anything to Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez. Inter should not be underestimated: in the Summer they made some important acquisitions and is dominating the Serie A together with Juventus. Conte is playing with his favourite system and also puts the players at ease.”
