In an interview with TuttoMercatoWeb, former Inter and Borussia Dortmund player Andreas Brehme has shared his thoughts ahead of the match between the two sides tonight.
“In their last two games Borussia Dortmund played quite well, I think tonight will be a good match. Inter are in better shape, they played well against Bologna and with a little luck they won the game. I think the Nerazzurri have more chances of success, but it will not be easy.”
He was then asked for the main strength and weakness of Dortmund heading into the game.
“What is one of Dortmund’s strengths? The atmosphere that their fans create. The stadium will be sold out, this will be important. And their weak point? The many injuries that the team has.
He then spoke on Inter’s title credentials.
“Serie A is interesting again. As in Germany, where previously there was only Bayern Munich, there is now more competitiveness. Can Inter win the league? Yes but Juventus are a very strong team.”
In conclusion he was asked what Inter need to do in the transfer window.
“There is no need to do anything. At least not in January. It will be important to do something later though.”
