Sensi Could Return To Inter Starting XI Against Hellas Verona

Stefano Sensi could make a return to the starting XI for Inter’s Serie A match at home to Hellas Verona on Saturday evening according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport.

The central midfielder made a return to action off the substitutes bench in Tuesday night’s 3-2 Champions League group stage loss away to Borussia Dortmund and is now in contention once again to be among the starting cast.

Inter have a few players currently out on the sidelines and the one most likely to recover for the match is Danilo D’Ambrosio, who has been progressing in his recovery from a broken toe in recent day.

It is difficult to foresee Roberto Gagliardini or Kwadwo Asamoah returning from their respective problems and there is zero chance whatsoever that Matteo Politano will be available.

Politano picked up a knock against Dortmund soon after coming on and tests conducted by Inter’s medical staff have confirmed he has suffered a sprain to his ankle.
