Former Juventus and AC Milan striker Paolo Rossi discussed Inter and coach Antonio Conte’s words following the Nerazzurri’s loss to Borussia Dortmund earlier this week in an interview in today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
“Conte does his job. Everyone would like important players, if I coached Inter I would do the same. He understands that there’s a gap to be filled with respect to Juve. If you want to win you have to do more.”
“Today Juve are a better team. They have two teams that are both very strong. Sarri’s game is still not fully visible and, in the meantime, they win because they have great champions and in today’s football only those who have great champions win.”
“When Sarriball is enacted, it will be even more beautiful to see because he represents the real novelty. But it still takes time.”
The 1982 World Cup winner then touched on owning a football team and Inter’s luck with their owners, the Suning group.
“The management of a team costs a lot. After entrepreneurs like Berlusconi and Moratti, after Agnelli, it is difficult to make ends meet and win.”
“International groups arrive but do not do so with passion or love. Meanwhile, Inter have set some right stakes, have put the right people in the right place.”
