In their latest study, the CIES football observatory have taken a look at the increase in transfer values of players who have joined another club on loan within Europe’s top five leagues.
Mauro Icardi, who joined Paris Saint Germain on loan from Inter, is one of five players with a transfer value exceeding €50 million, with him valued at precisely €50.8 million.
He is fifth on the list, two spots ahead of Stefano Sensi, who is on loan at Inter from Sassuolo. Despite playing little in recent weeks due to injury, Sensi started the season fantastically and this is reflected in his new €42.1 transfer value.
Ivan Perisic, who is on loan at Bayern Munich from Inter, is down in 13th on the list with a value of €29.3 million.
Ionut Radu is down in 20th place with a value of €25.1 million, Cristiano Biraghi is 22nd with a value of €22.6 and Radja Nainggolan is in 46th place with a value of €11 million.
