Inter will have a scout present at Uruguay’s international friendly match away to Hungary this coming Friday according to a report from FCInterNews.it.
The Nerazzurri scout will be there to take a closer look at Matias Vina, a 22-year-old full back currently on the books of Uruguayan giants Nacional.
Inter have been monitoring him for some time now but are not alone in having shown an interest in signing him, the report goes on.
Spanish side Atletico Madrid have already made an offer of €5 million but were knocked back by Nacional, where Vina is under contract through to the end of the 2020/21 season.
Nacional, as per the report, are said to be looking for at least double that due to the fact he is now involved with the Uruguay national team and because so many of the big European clubs are circling.
This season he has made 32 appearances across all competitions, in which he has scored four goals and provided three assists.
