Torino president Urbano Cairo spoke about Inter and Torino’s challenging game against the Nerazzurri on Saturday to the Turin edition of the newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
“It’s no mystery, I was born a Milan fan. But my second team, or rather something more, has always been Torino because my mother was a great fan of the Granata and Grande Torino.”
He then touched on the difficulties clubs face with international breaks.
“These breaks are a complication for every coach, but from Wednesday we will have three days to prepare for the best and I trust that Mazzarri will succeed.”
“It will be a very hard game, we all know Inter’s qualities, we know that they have a very good coach, I think that Mazzarri is also very good. We must be confident, and we must give the best.””
Torino are currently 11th in the league table after 12 games, eight points behind sixth place, the lowest spot that qualifies a club for a European competition.
