Inter Pair Gagliardini & Asamoah To Make Return To Full Training Today

Roberto Gagliardini and Kwadwo Asamoah should both be back available for selection for Wednesday’s Champions League clash with Slavia Prague according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.

Both players should make a return to full training as of today ahead of the penultimate group stage fixture against the Czech side, who Inter drew 1-1 with on the opening day of the group stage.

In all likelihood, Gagliardini will start from the bench whilst Borja Valero will get his first start of the campaign in place of the injured Nicolo Barella.

The report also goes on to state that Inter are continuing to treat Stefano Sensi with extreme caution to avoid any new injuries. The 24-year-old has been struggling with an abductor muscle injury which has caused him to miss five games lately.

It also adds that Matteo Politano could return for Inter’s next league match against SPAL this coming weekend. Failing that, he will be back for the match against Roma.
