Inter could look toward former youth prospect Davide Faraoni to help them reinforce their defence according to a report in today’s print edition of Veronese newspaper L’Arena.

The 28-year-old has caught the attention of several Serie A clubs this season with his steady performances for newly promoted Hellas Verona, who he has been an ever present feature for, appearing in all 14 games of theirs to date.

The Gialloblu club would ultimately like to keep a hold of Faraoni, who is under contract with them until the end of the 2020/21 season, but they are well aware that they could raise an important sum of money by cashing in on his good performances in the first part of this season.

As per the report, Verona could ask for around €10 million for Faraoni, who joined Inter at under 19 level back in 2010 and spent two years with the club before being sold to Udinese.

Aside from Inter, the report quotes Lazio, Fiorentina and Roma as clubs who also have an interest in signing him in the January window.
