Fiorentina will not sell star man Federico Chiesa to Juventus according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.

Relations between the club and the player have broken down over his refusal to put pen-to-paper on a new deal and an exit seems almost inevitable in the not too distant future.

Chiesa would like to leave La Viola and join Juventus for several reasons with him wishing to play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and to play in the Champions League.

Fiorentina director Joe Barone is completely against the idea of selling Chiesa to Juventus and has made a promise that he will not deal the promising winger to the Bianconeri. This is because relations between himself and Juventus director Fabio Paratici are poor.

The report goes on to state that this therefore means Inter remain the only club in Italy where the 22-year-old could find himself.

Inter manager Antonio Conte and chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta are both big fans of the Italian international and Inter could offer Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa as part of any deal. Alternatively, Inter could offer Matteo Politano plus cash.
