Italian journalist Angelo Mangiante praised Inter striker Lautaro Martinez and the man who discovered the Argentine’s talents, Walter Sabatini, in a Tweet today after the Nerazzurri’s strong 2-1 win over SPAL, where Lautaro scored a brace.
The 22-year-old Argentinian striker has had an incredible start to the season, scoring 13 goals in 19 appearances for the Nerazzurri across all competitions so far this season. He has also provided three assists in that time, forming a formidable partnership with teammate Romelu Lukaku.
Mangiante praised the work of Sabatini in the tweet, although many fans have reminded him that the praise should also be given to Diego Milito, Racing’s Sporting Director, Inter’s Sporting Director Piero Ausilio and Vice-President Javier Zanetti.
The journalist posted the tweet saying: “Lautaro Martinez is 22 years old and already very strong. As strong as the one who took him: Walter Sabatini. A crazy man. A discoverer of talents like few in the world. In love with football. Talents taken before blossoming. First of all. An immense human depth.”
#InterSpal pic.twitter.com/7na3RUh25s— Angelo Mangiante (@angelomangiante) December 1, 2019
