Inter coach Antonio Conte has broken yet another record today, after guiding the Nerazzurri to their 12th win in the first 14 games of the season, according to a report from Italian media outlet PassioneInter.
The report details how the 50-year-old Italian coach is the first coach in Inter’s history to have won 12 out of the first 14 games, breaking the record set by Aldo Olivieri’s Nerazzurri squad in the 1950/51 season.
Today’s win also saw the Nerazzurri rise to the top of the league table, following Juventus’ poor 2-2 draw against Sassuolo earlier today.
The Milanese squad have been completely refined by Conte since his arrival earlier in the year. He replaced club staples such as Ivan Perisic and Mauro Icardi, bringing in players like Romelu Lukaku and Stefano Sensi, and revitalising old stars like Antonio Candreva and Marcelo Brozovic.
The Nerazzurri have scored 31 games in their 14 games, six more than rivals Juventus.
