Inter midfielder Matias Vecino discussed the Nerazzurri’s important 2-1 win in the Serie A over SPAL to Italian broadcaster Rai Sport after the final whistle.

“If we believe we can win the title? Surely there is still work to be done and a long way to go, we’re happy with the position we’re in now but the league is very long and we just have to think about the next game.”

He touched on the strong attacking partnership of Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez.

“We’re happy with the forwards we have, they’re scoring a lot and they’re supported by the team. We hope to continue like this.”

Finally, Vecino joked about the comments coach Antonio Conte made about guiding the players’ sex lives.

“With me present he never said those things, maybe he said them when I was with the National Team [laughs].”

The Nerazzurri’s win today has seen them rise to the top of the league table, following on from Juventus’ 2-2 draw against Sassuolo earlier today.
