Following yesterday’s 2-1 win over SPAL, Antonio Conte has his Inter side on course to match and possibly even beat the 102 points tally he achieved in his final season with Juventus, a report in today’s print edition of Turin newspaper Tuttosport highlights.
Conte’s Inter have picked up 37 points from a possible 42 available to them after 14 games played and currently occupy top spot in the Serie A table. With 24 games still to play, there are a maximum of 72 points on offer meaning Inter could finish the season on as much as 109 points if they are to win every game.
The Nerazzurri managed to leapfrog their arch-rivals Juventus with their win over SPAL due to the Bianconeri slipping up against Sassuolo and drawing 2-2 with them.
