Inter strikers Lautaro Martinez and Romelu Lukaku have scored more than 8 goals each in the first 14 games of the Serie A season. This is the first time since the 2001/02 season that the Nerazzurri have had two strikers achieve these numbers, according to a Tweet by stats provider Opta Paolo yesterday.
The last time Inter have had an attacking partnership score 8+ goals each in the first 14 games was in the 2001/02 season, where Christian Vieri and Mohammed Kallon reached that number. The Nerazzurri would end that season in third place, two points behind winners Juventus.
