Rodrigo de Paul is Inter’s main goal to strengthen their midfield department in the upcoming January transfer window according to a report in today’s paper edition of Corriere dello Sport.
The versatile Argentine is currently on the books of Udinese, who are believed to want between €30-35 million for him.
The 25-year-old has made 12 appearances across all competitions in which he has scored once and provided two assists for a struggling Udinese side.
de Paul is far from being the only player that Inter are believed to be considering with the report also discussing the possibility of Inter making a move for Barcelona’s Arturo Vidal.
The Chilean international will only join the Nerazzurri on loan if Inter are to go in for him as the club ultimately wish to avoid signing older players.
Vidal is no stranger to Italian football having previously represented Juventus and he is also no stranger to Inter manager Antonio Conte either with him working with him whilst at Juve.
