Stefano Sensi will not need an operation to correct his ongoing injury problem according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.
Sensi visited a specialist in Munich, Germany who ruled out the need for surgery. Sensi will return to Milan either tonight or tomorrow and will not make a return to action until at least after the winter break.
The 24-year-old central midfielder joined Inter on a season long loan with an option to buy attached from fellow Serie A club Sassuolo this past Summer.
The Italian got life off to a great start in the Nerazzurri shirt having contributed three goals and tallied four assists in 10 appearances across all competitions.
Sensi’s injury problems began in Inter’s 2-1 loss to Juventus in Serie A at the beginning of September and has not played since. He did make a cameo appearance off the bench against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League recently but it was clear that things were still not right.
