Samuele Mulattieri could not hide his happiness following his hat-trick in Inter’s Primavera’s 4-0 rout of Bologna on Tuesday afternoon.
“It was the perfect day for me. I am very happy to have scored a hat-trick but even more so for the result itself,” the attacker remarked post-match, as quoted by Inter’s official club website.
“It is very important to pick up points, especially after a difficult period like the one we went through. We have been freed and we have to continue in this manner, the team has character and is always trying to win.”
The 19-year-old Italian youth international has made nine appearances across all competitions this season and his hat-trick against the Rossoblu takes his goal tally to the season to six. In 618 minutes on the field, he has also provided one assist for one of his teammates.
Inter Primavera currently sit fourth after nine league games and will be back in action this Saturday when they travel to the Italian capital to take on Lazio.
