Inter management are unwilling to contemplate signing Arturo Vidal on a permanent basis according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.
Inter are put off by the fact that the Chilean international is 32-year-old and for this reason they do not wish to give in to the reported demands of Barcelona with some reports stating Barcelona want €40 million for him.
Should Barcelona open up to the idea of loaning him out for the remainder of the season, Inter could think differently but as things stand, it looks unlikely that the Blaugrana will do so.
Vidal has fallen down the pecking order at the Nou Camp this season and has openly spoken on his future on several occasions in recent weeks confirming that he may be forced to look for alternative employment if his situation with the club does not change in the short term.
This season he has made 14 appearances across all competitions. In just 515 minutes on the field, he has scored four goals and tallied one assist.
