Parma director Alessandro Lucarelli has ruled out the possibility of loan-star Dejan Kulusevski departing the club in the upcoming January transfer window.
Kulusevski has drawn extensive links to other clubs with thanks to his performances whilst on loan at the Ducali from fellow Serie A club Atalanta with Inter and Juventus believed to be among the host of interested clubs.
“He will stay with us until the end of the season,” Lucarelli insisted in an interview with Parma’s channel, Parma TV.
“He is a very young boy and must not look at what is written about him. Too much praise, especially for a young player, can lead to a drop in performance. He just needs to continue doing what he has done so far.”
The 19-year-old Swedish international has made 13 appearances across all competitions this season. In 1263 minutes on the park, the midfielder, who is capable of playing a whole host of roles, has scored three goals and provided five assists.
