Inter manager Antonio Conte will make three changes to the starting line-up for tomorrow night’s Serie A match at home to Roma according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.
Having been rested for the 2-1 win over SPAL this past weekend, Diego Godin will come back into the fold and will replace Danilo D’Ambrosio in one of the three centre back slots. The other two slots will be occupied by Stefan de Vrij and Milan Skriniar.
Valentino Lazaro will drop out of the team for the match with the in-form Giallorossi. Cristiano Biraghi, who replaced him as a substitute in Sunday’s match, will start in his place at left wing back in Conte’s 3-5-2 system.
Finally, with Roberto Gagliardini to miss the match due to a foot injury, Conte will be forced into a change in the midfield and the Roman newspaper state that Borja Valero will be the one to replace him.
Probable Inter starting line-up (3-5-2): Samir Handanovic; Diego Godin, Stefan de Vrij, Milan Skriniar; Antonio Candreva, Matias Vecino, Borja Valero, Marcelo Brozovic, Cristiano Biraghi; Romelu Lukaku, Lautaro Martinez.
