In an interview with Italian radio station Radio Sportiva, Gianfelice Facchetti, the son of Inter icon Giacinto, has shared his satisfaction at Inter’s current good form.
Inter currently find themselves sitting top of the Serie A table after 14 games played and are also on the brink of progression to the knockout stages of the Champions League this all despite the fact, manager Antonio Conte has had to deal with several injury problems.
“The team have found a certain determination that has made it possible to make up for the absences. The players are responding very well when they are called upon. There is a strong project in place at the club,” he began.
Facchetti then spoke on Lautaro Martinez, who has been in sensational form this season having scored 13 goals in 19 appearances across all competitions.
“Last year we waited too long to see him play but now we can enjoy what he is doing together with Romelu Lukaku.”
