Inter Primavera attacker Matias Fonseca has shared his delight following their resounding 4-0 win over their Bologna contemporaries on Wednesday afternoon.
“This is a useful result, this win gives us great conviction in view of the upcoming matches. We played with great determination and we took to the field with the right attitude. We must always do our best and try to do well in all the games we play,” he said post-match, as quoted by Inter’s official club website.
The 18-year-old striker made his 12th appearances across all competitions in the match. He also grabbed his eighth goal of the season within 744 minutes on the field.
Armando Madonna’s Primavera side are currently sitting in fourth place after playing nine games in the Primavera league table. With a game in hand, they could jump up as high as third place if they are to succeed in the match and could therefore further close the gap with those in the top two places.
