Legendary Italian midfielder Marco Tardelli has shared his belied that former club Inter could well go all the way and win the Serie A title this season.

After 14 games played, the Nerazzurri currently find themselves sitting top of the pile with 37 points from 42 with a one point lead over another of Tardelli’s former clubs in Juventus.

“Conte is a guarantee for Inter and with the right signings, he could have them fighting for the league title,” he remarked in an interview with Milan based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Next he was asked who he thinks has the better attack between Inter and Juventus.

“There is a pardox. I would say that the best are Juventus’ Paulo Dybala and Gonazlo Higuain but the numbers favour Inter’s Lautaro Martinez and Romelu Lukaku.”

In conclusion, Tardelli, who spent two years at Inter between 1985 and 1987, was asked who he thinks is most like him in today’s football.

“I like Inter’s Nicolo Barella but no none resembles me quite like Claudio Marchisio.”
