Edin Dzeko’s presence in tomorrow’s match between Inter and Roma is in serious doubt as he continues to suffer from a high fever according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Bosnian striker, who has been Roma’s top goalscorer this season with six goals, has been suffering for the past few days and his chances of featuring against the Nerazzurri are very very low.
Depending on how he feels today there is the slightest of chances that he may manage to make the bench for the match that will be played at San Siro.
Should Dzeko miss out, Paulo Fonseca will find himself having to get creative. Nikola Kalinic is only just back from injury and is not in the best of shape’s to play in such a match meaning that Fonseca may need to play midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo up front or use Henrikh Mkhitaryan as a false nine.
