Inter and Juventus are set to fight in the transfer market as well as in the title race, as both clubs look to sign Brescia starlet Sandro Tonali, although they will face competition from abroad, according to a report from Italian media outlet TuttoMercatoWeb today.

The report details how both the Bianconeri and Nerazzurri are working hard to secure the signature of the 19-year-old Italian, with both clubs currently in contact with his club, Brescia. For now, the fight for Tonali’s signature in Italy is limited to those two sides, but there is also interest from abroad from clubs such as Manchester City, Manchester United and Paris Saint Germain. The Nerazzurri hope to sign Tonali in January.

Other midfield options the Nerazzurri are considering, the report continues, are Udinese star Rodrigo De Paul and Atalanta owned midfielder Dejan Kulusevski. Inter CEO Beppe Marotta has opened up to the idea of signing Barcelona’s Arturo Vidal, but considering how likely the deal is to be complicated, has returned his focus to signing De Paul. In regard to Kulusevski, Inter are looking at signing the 19-year-old Swede next summer.
