Furthermore, Lampard is rumoured to be interested in signing Leicester City defender Ben Chilwell in the upcoming January transfer window, lowering Alonso in the hierarchy even more.
Therefore, the report continues, there is a chance that Conte will try to bring Alonso to Inter next summer. A potential deal isn’t likely to come in January due to the cost, although there is a chance that Inter could negotiate a loan deal with a buy option attached. Inter could purchase him due to a lack of strong back up for Kwadwo Asamoah, considering Cristiano Biraghi is simply on loan from Fiorentina, as well as the Ghanaian’s age.
