Italian journalist Aldo Vitali commented on Inter’s goalless draw against Roma on Friday, as well as the fans’ love of coach Antonio Conte in an interview with Italian radio station Radio Sportiva.

“The glass is half full in general, it wasn’t obvious that we would have this position in the league table after the summer transfer moves. It can happen, as in Inter’s game against Roma, that the ball doesn’t end up in the back of the net.”

The journalist then touched on the whistles for Inter wing back Cristiano Biraghi, who was booed and whistled in the game.

“There were a few whistles for Biraghi, but incomprehensible, Antonio Conte did well to criticise them. With him, no one is free of bruises. The fans have great love for Conte, it’s another story compared to their feelings about Luciano Spalletti.”

The Nerazzurri are currently top of the league table after 15 games, two points ahead of league leaders Juventus.
