Barcelona will push to get favourable treatment for Lautaro Martinez or Stefano Sensi in return for them giving Inter more favourable terms to sign Arturo Vidal according to a report in today’s print edition of Spanish newspaper Sport.

Inter have taken a keen interest in signing Vidal as they look to strengthen the midfield department in the upcoming January transfer window with manager Antonio Conte seemingly desperate to be reunited with the Chilean international.

Vidal’s agent is set to meet with Barcelona over the coming weeks to discuss his client’s future with the club and is well aware of the Nerazzurri’s interest in the 32-year-old, who still has 18 months left on his current deal with the Catalan club.

The report also states that Barcelona executives have been in Milan since Friday and have met with Inter already to discuss the possible transfer of Vidal whilst it is also understood that Ivan Rakitic’s name was involved in the conversation.
