Inter could move for Marcos Alonso in the January transfer window if Kwadwo Asamoah’s knee problems persist according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.
The 28-year-old has fallen down the pecking order at Premier League side Chelsea and Inter could move for him on a loan with option to buy attached.
The report from the Turin newspaper does however stress that strengthening at full back/wing back is not a priority for Inter and strengthening the midfield department remains the Nerazzurri’s primary objective. Inter are looking around and have several names in mind that they could look to bring in.
Udinese’s Rodrigo de Paul, Barcelona’s Arturo Vidal, Roma’s Alessandro Florenzi and Atalanta’s Dejan Kulusevski are just four of many midfielders that they are believed to be looking at but it is difficult to sign each player for a number of different reasons.
In the case of Kulusevski for example, he is currently out on loan at fellow Serie A club Parma, who are unlikely to agree to cancel his loan given the impact he has made this season.
